Course objectives
By the end of this course the students will be able to deal with standard morphological plan of czech language. The student will understand some problems of the functional and formal morphology. The student will be able to specify the type of morpheme, grammatical structure of the word, criterion of classification of the word sorts (morphological, semantic and syntactical criterion). The student will be able to recognisinse the morphological categories of the nouns and verbs, grammatical forms of the nouns and the verbs (usage of the grammatical forms, variants, irregularity in the declination and the conjugation)according to the gained knowledge.The student will master uninflected word sorts in the Czech as well as stylistic aspects in the morphology.

Syntactical function of the word sorts. 7. Formal morphology. 8. Morphology of the nouns and verbs. 9. Uninflected word sorts. Spelling czech rules.

Teaching methods
Textual analysis: Problem method. Controlled discussion.
Assessment methods
The requirements: Test in credit week. The test has 2 parts. One part verifies orthography knowledge - 80 orhography phenomena is to be tested. The other, oral part, will cover the topics listed in the syllabus. Students will write several ortography tests. They have to gain 70% to be allowed to sit the final test, where they need to gain also 70 =.
