Course objectives
The course objective is to use and develop students´ present knowledge and interpretational skills to help them communicate with a literary work more effectively.
Syllabus
  • 1. Selection and specification of the topic. 2. Selection of the primary and secondary literature. 3. Processing the bachelor work project. 4. Diploma work conception. 5. Research method in the field of foreign language teaching. 6. Preparation and organisation of the research. 7. The research itself. 8. Processing the research results. 9. Elaboration of the bachelor work.

Teaching methods
The seminar is based on a given theme of a bachelor paper and is led by a supervisor. The works can focus on literature, history or methodology. Students can choose their teacher. They are taught how to project the work and how to approach literary materials. They study various research techniques and apply them to their own projects. In the seminar, they present their projects and discuss them.
Assessment methods
The course has a form of individual tutorials where students discuss their bachelor paper, emphasizing the problems of metodology and literature.
