Course objectives
The objective of this subject is intensification knowledge of the Russian culture. The acquirement of the relation between the study of the language and realities and the national connotation of the word is important. The emphasis is placed on the reading and listening of the authentic texts trom Russian periodicals and art literature. The students theirselves look for in the ambit of the obligatory project for texts and publications about the Russian culture on the internet and different publications.

  • The emphasis is placed on the relation between the study of the language and the study of the realities in the ambit of the basic topics: Russian paintings Russian music and balet Russian geography State form Flag, hymn, national emblem Nations in Russia

Seminary, discussion, presentation.
Assessment methods
Seminar: Attendance 80% (two absences allowed). Attendance is required also for these students who have the subject registered as repeated. Project – every student must hand in a project (in Russian) during his study. The topic can be chosen by the student according to his interests, but must be consulted beforehand.
