- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to understand the basic features of Russian folk, old Russian literature and culture; to learn the history of old Russian literature and its relations with the historical and political conditions in Russia; to understand the main topics of literary science and their application in the text analysis; to analyze the relations of Russian folklore and literature; to understand and analyze the relations between literature, art and music; to understand and analyze the relations between the style, movement and genre in their historical evolution; (papers written by the students)

- 9. The main problems of genology, literary genres and movements.
