- Course objectives
- The student will know the problematics of the symptomatic speech disorders: terminology of the classical speech therapy, present view over the issue, incidence of these disorders, causes and mechanism of the causes, classification, symptomatology, characteristics of symptomatic speech disorders by the physically disabled, by the children with cerebral palsy , by the hearing and visually impaired (blind, symptomatology going through all speech stages, the possibilities of assessment, the principles of the speech therapy service care as a part of the comprehensve rehabilitation of individuals with symptomatic speech disorders. Characteristics of mental retardation, the development of speech of mentally retarded, the incidence of the symptomatic speech disorders of mentally reaterded and multihandicapped, assesment, the speech therapy care as a part of the comprehensive care of mentally retarded and multihandicapped persons.
- Syllabus
- The symptomatic speech disorders: causes and mechanism of the causes, classification. The symptomatic speech disorders by the physically disabled: children with cerebral palsy. children with hearing and visuall impairment(blind): symptomatology going through all speech stages. Characteristics of mental retardation: the development of speech of mentally retarded, the incidence of symptomatic speech disorders of mentally reaterded. The possibilities of assessment, the principles of speech therapy service care as a part of comprehensive rehabilitation of individuals with symptomatic speech disorders, persons with multihandicapped disorders.
