Course objectives
The basic sector branch of geography which gives the survey about basic knowledge from the geography of manufacturing and form the geography of agriculture
Syllabus
  • 1. The genesis and roots of social and economical geography, their position in the general system of sciences and the relationship to the cognates branches
  • 2. The theory of lokalization and spatial organization - the genesis, evolution periods and actual signification
  • 3.The factors of localization and their signification for lokalization of production; production and living environment
  • 4.The manufacturing as a object of the research of the geography of manufacturing
  • 5.The formation of spatial structure of industry of the Czech Republic (history-geographical approach, geographical inertion)
  • 6.The geographical characterisation of particular braches of manufacturing
  • 7.The agricultural production as object of research of the geography of agriculture (basical characteristics and targets)
  • 8. The signification and classification of the conditions for the localization of agriculture
  • 9. The regional differentiation of particular branches of agriculture
  • 10. The geographical aspects of other braches of production (fishing, forestry and water utilization).
  • 11.The geography of the world economy (evolution periods and typologies, the actual signification of production sphere, the regional differentiation)
  • 12.The basic character of the development of agriculture (the geographical origin of plants and animals).
  • 13.The problems and perspectives of actual development of world economy (concentracion, globalization, informational revolution, geography of starving).
