- Course objectives
- At the end of the course, students will be able to analyse different aspects of classroom discourse (including turn-taking, questioning, addressing students, giving instructions, using discourse markers) and recognise problematic strategic choices made by speakers.

- Assessment methods
- Students are expected to prepare a presentation about a scholarly paper and write an essay, in which they would analyse a passage extracted from a transcribed script of classroom discourse. The attendance is compulsory, students can only miss 2 classes.
