- Everybody who registrates for the course is supposed to take interest in writing the thesis at the Department of German. As opposed to that, they are not supposed to have developed a certain topic at the point of registration, nor to have chosen an advisor/supervisor for the thesis already.

- Course objectives
- The course consists of a general (lectures) and a individual (supervisor) part. The aim of the general part is to mediate the basics of academic writing and formal requirement on a bachelor/master thesis at the Faculty of Education to the students. The aim of the individual part is to formulate the topic and the structure of the thesis (in accordance with the supervisor). The overall goal of the course aims at creating an appropriate concept of the thesis which can be built upon in subsequent courses leading up to the submission of the thesis.
