- Course objectives
- The subject is intended as a course of individual students research work in linguistics, especially for the students who elaborate diploma paper in linguistics. The individual work shall be based on the research studies of the linguistic literature and critical thinking of it and critical consultation with some member of the department of Czech language.
It is presupposed that students has choiced thema and that he had read theoretical literature and "critical" choiced knowledges and scientific information. The student had drawn language "material" (according to the scientific thema).
Individual work of the student and his consultation with some teacher is aimed to the elaboration of data and utterance of the results in the scientific text. - Syllabus
- 1. Critical valuation of the scientific information of the linguistic literature. 2. Classification of the language "material", criterion for the classification. 3. Writing of the scientific linguistic texts - expression of the results of the linguistic research.

- Individual tuition with teacher. Student can obtain credit after commiting of written work that can be a part of the diploma thesis of the Czech language. Student shall demonstrate in this work that he knows linguistic research technique and that he is able to use them.
