- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to orientate in relations between kinds of art in trends of 20th century. Student should understand the problematics of interpretation of art works and variety of the most important representatives of given styles.
- Syllabus
- Developmental aspects of relations between the kinds of art - schools, trends and movements in art of the 20th century. Modernism, avant-garde art, postmodern art.
- Impressionism, expressionism, fauvism, postimpresionismus. Art Nouveau. Cubism orphism. Futurism, Constructivism, suprematismus.Dadismus, surrealism, minimalism. Happening, performance art, Fluxus. Op-art, sound-art, installation, kinetic art. Pop art, postmodernism.
