- Course objectives
- This course will primarily be based upon Units 11-14 in Inside Out Advanced. Through practice, students will become more comfortable and more proficient using new complex structures.
At the end of the course students should be able to:
have a well developed sense of the subtleties of English,
should ave the basic command of collocations, connotations, register, etc).
should develop their reading skills (extra material provided) and work on their vocabulary. - Syllabus

- Classes will involve group- and pair-work and all students will be expected to participate. Extra work will be posted on is.muni.cz. The course finishes with a credit, to obtain this students must pass continuous assessment (based on the work throughout the semester) as well as the credit test (comprising Use of English, Reading and Listening comprehension tasks), passmark 70%.
