Course objectives
Students will gain an overview of the most important ways to manufacture mechanical parts. Emphasis is placed on highly productive method, used in the current modern enterprises.
Syllabus
  • Content focus: 1 Construction and technologičnost product 2nd Breakdown of operations (subtractive, compression, additive) 3 Machining: drilling, turning, milling, stretching 4th Water jet machining, laser, electroerosive, vyjiskřování 5th Welding: arc, resistance, welding in a controlled atmosphere, plasma and laser. 6. Soldering, bonding and cementation 7th Casting: precision casting, pressure die casting, lost wax 8th Forging: free, die and precision forging 9th Injection molding plastic vacuum 10th Rapid prototyping - rapid prototyping manufacturing
