- Students will be able to discuss their knowledge of theoretical problems of teaching methods (which are often interdisciplinary) and will be able to solve practical problems concerning teaching methods based on the acquired knowledge.

- Topics The conception of a teaching method within pedagogical theory and practice. Teaching methods and the curriculum.. Teaching and learning in relationship to a teaching method. The database of teaching methods. Classification of teaching methods. The relation between a teaching method and other didactic categories. Classical teaching methods. Activity teaching methods. Complex teaching methods. Teaching methods and latest technology (TV, computers, e-learning). Teachers methodological mastery. The choice of teaching methods for a specific situation.. Teaching methods in a modern school.

- Assessment methods
- The exam takes the form of a series of consultations. A task is defined on the first consultation that concerns teaching methods as well as the topic of the disertation project. The second - and possibly third - consultations are there to provide opportunities to discuss the task and its impact on the disertation project.
