Course objectives
The course aims at supporting and further developing the students’ practical language competence (language skills in reading, speaking and writing). At the end of the course, the students should be able to:
- express themselves freely on the topics which were the subject of discussion in the seminar (see “osnova”),
- use the most common vocabulary in connection with the discussed topics,
- understand texts in the discussed areas and to restate the main points in their own words.
- formulate their own point of view in regard of the discussed topics.
Syllabus
  • The course is exclusively focused on training for the written exam as well as for the oral part of the exam (B2): Presentation of particular testing exercises, strategies for managing of these exercises (reading, listening, grammar, writing, speaking).

Assessment methods
written texam at the end of the term;
oral exam during the examination period;
only students who score at least 60 % of total points at the written test (where for each part is to achieve 60 % of points) are admitted to the oral exam;
during the semester, homework may be required.
