- Main ohjectives can be summarized as follows: to elaborate topics from educational psychology in education and teaching practice lectures; to learn the history, current theories and methods of educational psychology in education and teaching practice; to analyze simple problems of student and teachers in education (individual projects, papers); make deductions based on acquired knowledge; to understand basic terms and theories.

- 1. Introduction to psychology in education and teaching practice.
- 2. History of psychology in education and teaching practice.
- 3. Current theoretical approaches and trends - eduacational psychology in education and teaching practice.
- 4. Psychological methods in school practice (individual and group evaluation and assesment).
- 5. Psychological research and education and teaching practice.
- 6. Learning. Types. Theories. Overlearning. Transfer and interference.
- 7. Results of learning (knowledge, skills and routines; competencies).
- 8. Teaching practice from the psychological perspective.
- 9. Academic achievment and failure.
- 10. Examination, assesment and testing of students.
- 11. Parenting styles.
- 12. Personality of a current-school-pupil.
- 13. Students (social) environment and its consequentions.
- 14. Teacher in eduaction (personality, professional development, stress management etc.).
