Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are: widening of elementary skills and principles of painting; painting technique development; colour and shape stylization; working with theme and sequential art work development.
Syllabus
  • Technological preparation of painting. Figurative paintigs of large formats. Individual theme application with respect to predisposition of individual students is expected.

Assessment methods
Credit will be given after fulfilling of the following requirements: 1)7 large format paintings on base material ( not only paper): canvas, composite wooden panels, etc. (compulsory). 2) Examples of work within particular seminars. 3) Written defence of individual topic. 4) Interest in contemporary art events documented by 5 exhibition’s reviews is expected. 5) Large proportion of individual out-of-school work except work in seminars is required.
