Course objectives
The main objective of the course can be summarized as follows: acquainting the basic english vocabulary from the Geography. This help students to be able to use an english written sources for their final thesis. Students are able to work with geographical english books as well as with geographical web pages.
Syllabus
  • The seminars will be devided into chosen geographical issues. These can be changed according to the student's needs. The main regard is to the topic of the final thesis. Expected issues: 1. Rivers 2. Sea action 3. Ice action 4. Population 5. Settlements 6. Economic 7. Wealth, aid and development 8. Environment 9. Weather 10. Climate

Teaching methods
The main teaching method is e-learning; students should study vocabularies by drill.
Assessment methods
Thematic seminars represent the basic form of education. Their themes are related to the specific geographical issues. To finish this subject successfuly it is necessary to elaborate a geographical presentation in english. The issue of the presentation can be choosen.
