- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to give an idea of America and Australia as a functioning system of regional units and different dimensions of a hierarchical classification based on natural and corresponding economic and social parameters. Students have to compose information, factual and localized information into their context.

- 1. Identifying and defining of the region
- 2. Physical-geographical characteristics (geology, climate, hydrology, biogegraphy)
- 3. Social-geogrphical characteristics (demography, economy, intergation)
- 4. Regionalisation of the areas and complex characteristics of subregions and countries (Canada; USA; Mexico; Carribean area; Brasilia; Venezuela; Columbia; Argentina, etc).
