Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The seminar focuses French history and Czech-French relations in history. The goal is to deepen knowledges of French history and to acquire knowledges about the history of Czech-French relations. At the end of this course, students should be able to apply the acquiered knowledges and skills at the school.
Syllabus
  • Selected chapters from the French history - audio-visual documents, movies with historical topics, non-fiction literature, belles-lettres with historical topics. Czech-French relations: 1. Samo Empire – Dagobert I, 2. Peter from Aspelt, 3. Charles IV, 4. Vojtěch Raňkův z Ježova, 5. Antonio Marini (the adviser of Jiří z Poděbrad, etc., see the Czech list.
