Course objectives
Subject of modern production technologies acquaint students with the best-known methods of production of mechanical parts. Emphasis is placed on highly productive method, used in the current modern enterprises.
Syllabus
  • A brief syllabus: 1st Product design and technology 2nd Distribution of technology operations (subtractive, compressive, additive) 3rd Machining: drilling, turning, milling, stretching 4th Water jet cutting, laser, electro 5th Welding: arc, resistance, welding   in a controlled atmosphere, plasma and laser. 6th Soldering, bonding and filling 7th Casting: precision casting, casting, lost wax 8th Forging: free, and precision die forging 9th Vacuum plastic injection molding 10th Rapid prototyping - rapid prototype manufacturing
