- Course objectives
- At the end of the course, students: regain a contrastive view at a French sentence; realize differences and unity between Czech and French; determinate types of syntax relations in a sentence (syntactic structures in oral communication) and new trends in French grammar.
- Syllabus
- 1. Word order in a French sentence compared with Czech one 2. Punctuation in a French sentence. 3. Sentence constituents, their relations (co-ordinative, determinative). Syntactic couples. 4. Relations between sentences expressing time and mood. 5. Contemporary trends in language. Influence of English and German.
