- Course objectives
- After passing the course, students will be able to describe and demonstrate technique of basic locomotor activities oriented to walking, running, jumping, skipping and climbing. Methodology of running, jumping and throwing practice through game as a preparation for later basic athletic disciplines practice. Methodology commensurate with the subject objective and pre-school age of the children. They will learn about the sets of athletic equipment Athletic kindergarten ČAS JIPAST and learn to use it in the organization of physical activities for children of preschool age.
- Syllabus
- 1.Basic motion activities, walking, running, jumping, crawling. 2. Handling things activities and throwing various things and tools activities. 3. Preparatory and game activities developing running skills, endurance, jumping power and skilfulness for pre-school children, development of physical and psychical health oriented fitness. 4. Getting to know our body (and its parts) activities while handling things, tools, equipment and things around. 5. Safety and hygiene principles in preparatory athletics training in a play classroom and play ground, injury prevention, warm-up principles. 6. Individual thesis on topic: techniques and methods of the training from a chosen topic from upon named range of activities in an attractive way for children. Day regime of pre-school children in the ply classroom and the play ground and possibilities of upon named topics. 7. Preparatory games and exercises are associated with the use of set Athletic kindergarten ČAS JIPAST.
