Course objectives
The main aim is to introduce students to contemporary Russia: geography, culture, architecture, customs, cuisine, mentality of the population. Furthermore, to develop language skills and speaking skills by speaking exercises, working with the Internet, Russian-speaking press and literature.

  • The content of the subject was included in the following topics: 1. Painting. Museums of Russia. 2. Russian music. Folklore, classical music, original song. 3. Theatre. 4. Ballet. Djagilevovy Russian season. 5. Film. History and present of Russian and Soviet film. 6. Czech - Russian relations.

Teaching methods
6 hours contact and 6 hours non-contact - students work independently with the Russian-speaking lyrics, seek information on topics discussed, prepare presentations.
Assessment methods
The quality of information and also the correct pronunciation, intonation and vocabulary. In the last week of students transfer to one of the essay topics memorized.
