Course objectives
The course provides an introduction into theory, methodology and practice of comparative pedagogy. Its subject and function are defined and its importance for leraning about current educational reality is argued for. The course presents the institutional and informational bases of comparative pedagogy and an introduction to comparison of educational systems. Results and methodologies of comparative studies are also introduced. The aim in sense of learning objective consist in being able to understand, interpret, explain, asses and use the subject matter.
