Course objectives
The aim of course is to deepen the knowledge of practical language at the phonetic, lexical and grammatical aspects. At the end of course student is able to converse on discussed topics; to use properly intonation construction, phraseology units; student will also improve his written and oral skills.

Teaching methods
Seminar. The student must regulary prepare for the seminar and do required home assignments. Individual work and group projects. Listening and reading of Russian texts.
Assessment methods
The credit requirements: 1. active participation in the class; 2. regular assessment and doing the required home assignments; 3. an essay on the given topic which student must write and hand in (during the last study week at the latest).
