- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to fix knowledge from lectures Syntax II. At the end of this course the student will be able to analyze the syntactic phenomena of contemporary Russian language; to compare the syntactic system of Russian and Czech languages; to use syntactic structures in oral communication correctly.
- Syllabus
- In this course are practicaly discussed the following topics:
- Compound and Complex sentences. General comparison with the Czech sentences. Compound sentence. Classification. Complex sentence. Classification. Asyndetical sentence.

- Teaching methods
- Seminar. The student must regulary prepare for the seminar and do required home assignments. Individual and group work. Translation from Czech to Russian language.
- Assessment methods
- The requirements: 1. regular active participation in the class: one absence per semester is allowed; 2. continuous assessment and doing the required home assignments based on the learned theory and terminology; 3. final test at the end of course based on the work done in the class.
