Syllabus
  • The course consists of four separate excursions, during which will be clearly shown signs by which it is possible to determine the selected taxa of the following families. Overview of discussed families: Class: Pinopsida Family: Pinaceae, Cupresaceae, Taxaceae Class: Magnoliopsida Family: Magnoliaceae, Ranunculaceae, Berberidaceae, Platanaceae, Ulmaceae, Moraceae, Canabaceae, Fagaceae, Betualceae, Corylaceae, Juglandaceae, Salicaceae, Tiliaceae, Buxaceae, Philadelphaceae, Grossulariaceae,Rosaceae, Fabaceae,Simaroubiaceae, Staphyleaceae, Aceraceae, Hippocastanaceae, Cornaceae, Araliaceae, Celastraceae, Oleaceae, Caprifoliaceae, Sambucaceae

Form of teaching: fieldwork: four separate excursions Teaching methods: exposition, explanation, description, demonstration, observation
Assessment methods
For the credit needed to: 1) participate in tree excursions 2) on various excursions: to create a written notes of the presented taxa, participate in determining tree species within the group 3) submit writing notes created during tree excursion.
