Course objectives
The students are to acquire linguistic awareness by learning Russian morphological system. At the end of this course student will be able to describe and identify learned parts of speech; to compare the morphological system of Russian and Czech languages; to apply acquired knowledge to communicate in Russian language.
Syllabus
  • 1. Pronouns. 2. Personal pronouns, possessives and reflexive. 3. Negative pronouns. 4. Revision. 5. Numerals and numerical expressions. Morphological characteristics. 6. Numerals and numerical expressions. Indeterminate, distributive, multiple. 7. Revision. 8. Morphological characteristics of the Russian verb. 9. Verbs I. and II. conjugation. 10. Productive and non-productive verb classes. 11. Conjugation of verbs. Verbs irregular. 12. Revision.

Teaching methods
Theoretic preparing, reading and listening in Russian language.
Assessment methods
Requirements: 1. Mastering the morphological terms. 2. Successfully passing of written final test (theory and linguistic terminology). 75% of correct answers is needed to pass.
