Course objectives
The goal is to become familiar with the problems of education of individuals with   behavioral and emotional problems and disorders. Furthermore, the system of school facilities for institutional and protective education. Integrative and inclusive approaches to education of pupils/children with behavioral disorders. Terminology, classification, syndrome of learned helplessness, a concept of support, stimulation, motivation.   Consultancy in the school, preventive educational care. At the end of the course students should be able to: answer questions related to   interventions in school facilities, issues related to   trespass and criminal responsibility of children and youth as   delinquent behavior.

  • 1. Behavioral disorders in the system of special education - Current state of the professional field, professional terminology, comparison with foreign countries 2. Classifications of behavioral disorders 3. Conceptual models of addressing problems of emotion and/or behavioral disorders, contribution of theoretical concepts 4. System approach towards education of students with behavioral disorders prevention of discipline problems school, class, discipline rules, evaluation, relationships, effectiveness of education 5. Quality of life of children with BD 6. Guidening BD child - perspektive orientation 7. Questions associated with education of students with emotion and/or behavioral disorders in mainstream schools 6. Questions associated with education of students with emotion and/or behavioral disorders in special education facilities 7. Questions associated with education of students with emotion and/or behavioral disorders in non-govermental institutions 8. Criminality of Youth, Juvenille Delinquency.
