- Course objectives
- The student will know the problematics: The student will know the preoblematics: of the organization helping people with hearing impairment; hearing disorders; classification, prevention, individual speciality; history of care of people with hearing impairment.
- Syllabus
- At the end of the course student should be able to understand following fields: organizations helping people with hearing impairment, hearing disorders, classification, prevention, individual speciality, history of care of people with hearing impairment, psychological peculiarities of people with hearing disabilities, principles and work methods, technical aids, various ways of communication, sign language, interpreting, total communication, bilingual methods, specifics of work with people with hearing impairment and deaf people, early intervention, educational proces, condition of integration, employ and special care, deafblindness.
