Course objectives
Educational objectives of the subject are basic knowledge of cosmological history, theoretical foundations contemporary cosmology and the experimental possibilities of verifying them, as well as basic skills application of cosmological view of the world. The main educational content includes concepts such as galaxies, theory relativity, relic radiation, inflation, big bang Objectives: Knowledge: the universe consists of particles, space and time, the universe is not static Skills: Describe experiments that confirm contemporary cosmological notions Attitudes: to appreciate human sophistication.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student should know: • Use information about the basic concepts of the origin and development of the universe • orientate in the theoretical foundations of today's physical cosmology • understand perspectives.
