Course objectives
The subject Canadian French focuses on the diversity of French beyond the borders of France. The aim is to introduce the specifics of Canadian French, more precisely its queue variants. After a brief introduction to French outside France, a brief outline of Canada's history and the origins and position of French in this area, students will be acquainted with its phonetic, phonological, morphological and, above all, lexical traits. On the basis of listening (monologues, songs) and analysis of texts, its characteristic features will be presented.

Listening and analysis Quebec songs (Mes aïeux - En famille). 9. Listening and analysis of Quebec songs (Les Colocs, Les Cowboys fringants). 10.
