Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with possibilities of mathematical and typographical systems that can be useful both for learning and teaching.
Learning outcomes
Po absolvování kurzu bude student seznámen s možnostmi matematických a typografických programů, jež mohou být užitečné jak při vlastním studiu, tak v učitelské praxi.
Syllabus
  • Introduction to TeX, respectively LaTeX, and auxiliary editing interfaces. Formatting of text, typesetting of mathematics, tables, cross-references etc.
  • Introduction to GeoGebra. Dynamical geometry, object dependences, tables, functions, graphs etc.
  • Introduction to Maxima. Symbolical vs. numerical computations, adjustments, representations etc.
  • Similar systems, their comparisons and web interfaces, possible inputs, outputs and interactions.
