- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to deepen students' knowledge of the morphological system of the Russian language. At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
- describe the morphological system of the contemporary Russian language,
- define and characterize all parts of speech,
- compare the morphological categories of the Czech and Russian languages. - Syllabus
- 1. Numbers and numerical expressions. Part-of-speech characteristic of numbers.
- 2. Cardinal numbers, collective numbers, ordinal numbers.
- 3. Indefinite numbers, multiple numbers, fraction numbers.
- 4. Verbs. Part-of-speech characteristic of the Russian verb.
- 5. Infinitive and finite verb forms. Verb conjugation (1st and 2nd conjugation of Russian verbs).
- 6. Verbal aspect. Formation of aspectual pairs. The category of tense. The indicative, imperative, conditional mood.
- 7. Motion verbs.
- 8. Finite verb forms: participle (prichastiya).
- 9. Finite verb forms: participle (deeprichastiya).
- 10. Adverb. Adverb and predicate. Comparison of adverb.
- 11. Preposition. Conjunction. Interjection. Particle.
