Course objectives
Students should improve basic communicative skills working with written texts, reading with full comprehension, training verbal and written expression, excercising pronounciation and intonation, listening to DVD and CD records in Russian. Students should acquire basic principles of spelling in Russian, taking into account Czech-Russian interference.
Syllabus
  • Topics aimed at development and improvement of Russian communication means and oral skills : 1 to 2 My family and relationships. Genealogy of family. Dialogues about the family situation. 3 to 4 How do you relax? What season do you like? Description of the rest. 5 to 6 My favourite meal. What can you cook? What recipes do you know? Interviews. 7 to 8 Traffic in and out of town. How do you get to school / library / city? Build dialogues. 9 to 10 Types of vehicles. Advantages and disadvantages. How much is a ticket / tickets? Where can I order / buy tickets / flights? 11 to 12 Standards of proper guidance telephone interview in Russian. Working in pairs.

Teaching methods
Students work up homework and within an individual work they elaborate essays during the study. Students work individually and they also cooperate in group projects. They continuously read Russian texts.
Assessment methods
Homework, active participation in seminars. Oral credit as topics.
