Course objectives
Students deepen their knowledge of the Practical Language Course 2 (RJc011), improve their oral and written expression, grammar and communication skills.

Students are obliged to read and listen to Russian texts and work with the Russian Internet.
Syllabus
  • 1. Trip to Russia. Where would I like to go.
  • 2. Regions of Russia, as we know them and do not know.
  • 3. Czech Republic. What I would show my friends from Russia.
  • 4. Russian favorite souvenirs: matryoshka, ghel, khokhloma and samovar.
  • 5. Russian and Czech national cuisine. What's different?
  • 6. Healthy Lifestyle: Nutrition, Movement, Daily Mode.
  • 7. When we are ill. Doctor visit.
  • 8. Where do I want to live? City and countryside, apartment and family house.
  • 9. Housework: cleaning, washing, dishwashing. What do you hate most of this?
  • 10. Mass media. Their influence on contemporary society.
  • 11. Television in the life of contemporary person. Positives and negatives.
  • 12. Summary and revision.

Seminar, class discussion on given topics, homework, group projects within the areas discussed, reading and listening of Russian texts.
