Course objectives
The course is an extension of the course Graphic art studio for students of Visual arts.
Learning outcomes
Students will understand the basic terms, characteristics and technological processes of selected graphic techniques (intaglio printing techniques, screen printing).
They will understand basic facts from history and the present of graphic art.
Students will create graphic works.
They will be able to communicate about their projects and explain the content and the creative mechanisms.
Syllabus
  • Introduction to selected areas of the graphic art. History and the present, the artists and the works, basic concepts and technological principles.
  • Formulation of the topic of the individual project.
  • Techniques of etching. Consultation of the individual project.
  • Serigraphy. Consultation of the individual project.
  • Presentation of the individual project.
