- Znalost základů botaniky (zejména anatomie a morfologie rostlin) na gymnaziální úrovni.
- Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- 1. understand to detailed plant anatomy and morphology;
2. define structure of plant cell and plant tissue;
3. name structure of root, stalk, leaf, flower, seed and fruit;
4. explain interrelationship between these organisms;
5. to work with study literature.
6. define basic structure of plant cell;
7. identify and name of plant tissue;
8. describe anatomy and morphology of root, stem, leaf, flower, see and fruit;
9. interpret flower formula;
10. prepare and survey plant material. - Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to: - to use the correct professional botanical terminology and to select concepts and phenomena corresponding to the level of elementary school pupils; - to select and use in modeling model organisms to document selected concepts and phenomena related to botany; - work with plant material and process it in the form of didactic means for the needs of primary school education.

- Lectures:
- 1. Structure of plant cell, nucleus.
- 2. Plant tissue. Premanent tissue. Conducting tissue, xylem, phloem.Functions of plant tissue.
- 3. Anatomy and morphology of root. Phylogeny, ontogeny. Metamorphoses. Economic importance.
- 4. Anatomy of stalk. Phylogeny, ontogeny. Branching, buds. Metamorphoses
- 5. Anatomy and morphology of leaf. Phylogeny, ontogeny. Metamorphoses
- 6. Anatomy and morphology of monocotyledonous plant x dicotyledonous plant.
- 7. Structure of flower. Inflorescence.
- 8. Structure and morphology of fruit and seed. Classification of friuts. Germination of seeds.
- 9. Reproduction of plants.
