Course objectives
“Every man cannot be a dancer, however every man has right to achieve a control over his own body, and thus also opportunity to express himself as well as self-confidence derived from self-consciousness.” (E. Blažková)

Aim of this subject is to support students to get to know their body in motion better and furthermore to get acquainted with different ways of approaching movement either to experience one’s own pleasure or to share movement activities with students in school. A connection between movement expressive elements and music ones will be emphasized since combination of both can enhance their individual perception. Intention of this subject tends to provide a safe and tolerant environment to experiment and experience movement and music on one’s own, which can lead to a complex holistic perception of music motion activities in terms of personal development as well as of inter-artistic, inter-subjective and mainly interpersonal cooperation.
