- Course objectives
- Level B1 German Course The course is designed to develop selected language skills at level B1 and to work with written and spoken texts related to student’s subject/s of study.
- Learning outcomes
- By the end of the course, the student will be able to: - understand spoken LSP texts at B1 level of the CEFR; - understand written LSP texts at B1 level of the CEFR; - give a presentation; - show a good command of selected grammar structures at B1 level of the CEFR.

- Topics: 1. Eigenschaften, Merkmale und Fähigkeiten von Personen - Mietangebote - beruflicher Werdegang 2. Ferien, Tagungshotel, Betriebsausflug: Vorzüge und Nachteile abwägen, entscheiden und begründen 3. Bewertung von Stellen- und Wohnungsangeboten - Ansprüche, Erwartungen, Wünsche 4. Abwicklung einer Bestellung: im Café, beim Zulieferer 5. Defekte an Geräten und Einrichtungen - Empfehlungen zur Behebung von Defekten und Störungen

- group work, role play, presentation, feedback, impulse writing, reading, pronounciation training
- Assessment methods
- Credit requirements: 1) homework set in classes, active participation. 2) Oral presentation. 3) Exam – written + oral part. Only students who complete all assignments can take the exam. Both parts of the exam need to be passed (written part – 45/70 points, oral part – 20/ 30 points). Pass mark: 65% (65 points out of 100). Written part: listening, reading, grammar, vocabulary, writing. Oral part: monologue (1 minute) + dialogue (6 minutes)

Information on completion of the course: Pro úspěšné ukončení předmětu jsou předepsány v semestru průběžné kontroly. Jazykový kurz není určen pro začátečníky. Kurz je ukončen písemnou a ústní zkouškou na úrovni B1.
The course is taught annually.
General note: Zápis vyžaduje úspěšné absolvování vstupního testu JVk002 (obvykle v lednu). Výuka probíhá v němčině. Kurz je ukončen písemnou a ústní zkouškou na úrovni B1.

Information on course enrolment limitations: Vyžadují se vstupní jazykové znalosti minimálně na úrovni A2. Předmět si zapíší pouze studenti, kteří úspěšně absolvovali vstupní test na úrovni A2 (ERR).
