- Course objectives
- The students should get an overview of the basic properties of probability to be able to deal with simple problems in probability and descriptive statistics.
- Learning outcomes
- Having completed the course, the studetns will be able to a) use some basic notions in the probability methodology; b) work with some probability models involving random elements, especially binomial, geometric, Poisson, exponential and normal distribution.
