- Course objectives
- After completing this seminar the students will be able to interpret differences in pronunciation between German and Czech vowels, consonants, assimilation and suprasegmental phenomena of German pronunciation and characterize typical pronunciation mistakes made by Czech native speakers.
- Learning outcomes
- The student gains an overview of certain phenomenon of German pronunciation. He can apply this knowledge to improve his own pronunciation. He knows how to avoid typical mistakes in pronunciation made by native Czech speakers in standard German.
