- Course objectives
- In the course, the theoretical statements on the phenomenon of motivation are discussed and the specific motives and variables of the foreign language learning from motivational research are explained. In concrete teaching suggestions and with the help of different motivational procedures, impulses for the teaching and learning of German as a foreign language are offered.
- Learning outcomes
- The students are able win the basic knowledge about the motivation theories in relation to foreign language learning and teaching, to identify the motivational factors and to be able to implement relevant motivational procedures in German as a foreign language teaching.
