Course objectives
Course focuses to familiarize students with the basic textbooks for the teaching of the Russian language, both the traditional as well as alternative. Part of the textbooks are workbooks, methodical manuals and audio recordings. An integral part of teaching is also an analysis of textbooks for initial and advanced teaching of the Russian language. Presentation and analysis of professional language periodicals.
Syllabus
  • Introduction into the creation and use of textbooks. Textbooks: Pojekhali, Raduga, Raduga po-novomu and other classic textbook. Alternative Russian language textbooks. Methodological manuals, workbooks, recordings. Use of language games in teaching the Russian language. Lectures and student presentations.

Seminar form of teaching. Presentations by students.
Assessment methods
Seminar. Obligatory attendance. 1) active participation in class (80%). 2) presentation of students. 3) writing the final test in Russian language (75%).
