- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with various alternative directions, to help them to orientate in the context of the different directions.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course the student will be able to: understand and explain the Montessori, Waldorf and Forest pedagogy concepts, their approches, principles; rientate themselves in the pedagogical, psychological and philosophical foundations of these education concepts; use this knowledge to better understanding modern trends in education and training; clarify own concept of teaching in the context of alternative didactic practices.

- 1. - 2. Historical roots of Alternative Schools in Reform Systems (Pedagogy of Montessori, Waldorf, Forest Kindergartens, etc.), their approaches, principles. 3. - 4. State and non-state schools - church, foundation and private. 5. Kindergarten and educational innovations. 6. Educational alternatives as a complex concept. 7. Waldorf pedagogy. 8. Montessori pedagogy. 9. Pedagogy of forest kindergarten. 10. Climate of schools and classes in alternative schools. 11. - 12. Formation of Teacher's Concept of Teaching and Inspiration in Alternative Concepts.
