Course objectives
The subject focuses on individual subdisciplines of historical geography in order to show relations and links between explained phenomena and facts. In this way, students are able to learn links between the geography of the past and the geography of the present.
Learning outcomes
The student knows partial disciplines of historical geography, he is able to understand the links between the geography of the past and the current geography.

  • Subject, methods, tasks of historical geography. Historical geography of Europe in the Middle Ages and the New Age. Territorial and administrative development of selected European states.
