- Course objectives
- Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of paper and small material. In the exercises the students will get acquainted with the current concept in the field of work with materials, working tools and tools used in working with pupils at primary school and they will learn principles of safety and hygiene of work.
- Learning outcomes
- Students: 1. Design and describe work tools and tools used to work with natural materials. 2. Identify species and seasonal collection of natural resources and their thematic use according to seasons. 3. They make suggestions for practical activities in the area of work with natural resources. 4. Explain the principles of paper work, paper production, overview of paper materials, their processing and use. 5. Realizing themes for practical activities in folding, cutting, modeling, knitting and decorating of paper. 6. They will be able to reflect current trends in creating a portfolio of themes from natural, paper and cardboard, wire, foil and modeling materials. 7. Explain and describe appropriate work tools, tools and tools for working with technical materials 8. Explain the principles of safety and hygiene in practical teaching. 9. Apply materials during the creation of customary items during the year in the framework of folk customs, traditions and crafts.
- Syllabus
- 1. Block: Four seasons of the year when working with natural materials - working tools and tools for working with natural materials, an overview of the current techniques of working with natural resources, seasonal collection and its thematic use according to the seasons. 2. Block: Paper world - Paper production, overview of paper materials, their processing and use, themes for practical activities in the field of folding, cutting, modeling, knitting and decorating of paper. 3. Block: Natural and technical materials in folk traditions and crafts - creation of special items for individual seasons. 4. Block: Working with technical materials - tools and tools for working with technical materials, distribution of small technical material, creation of topics from technical materials, safety and hygiene at work.

- The student will create a portfolio of ideas from paper and small natural and technical materials in the form of methodological papers and will prepare a thematically oriented teaching project they defend.
