Course objectives
Working hours are focused on practicing correct pronunciation, explanation and errors associated with poor pronunciation. Due attention is paid to the pronunciation of words of foreign origin and work with special dictionaries of the Russian language.
Syllabus
  • 1.-2. Pronunciation training of soft consonants.
  • 3.-4. Pronunciation training of unpaired hard and soft consonants.
  • 5.-6. Pronunciation of foreign words.
  • 7.-8. Polysyllabic Russian words, primary and secondary stress.
  • 9.-10. Errors Czech native speakers in the pronunciation of words. Error analysis. Working with an error.
  • 11. Work with special dictionaries of the Russian language - orthoepic and orthographical dictionaries.
  • 12. Revision: reading and phonetic analysis of sentences.

Teaching methods
Regular activ participation in the class. Listening in russian language. Reading russian texts and correct pronunciation, work with orthoepic and orthographical dictionaries of the Russian language.
Assessment methods
The course finishes with a credit, which consists of both oral and written part. The written part – the test (transcription). The oral part – short texts reading. The correct pronunciation and intonation is evaluated.
