Course objectives
The subject complements the study of art history on selected chapters from the history of applied art, photography and non-European cultures. It extends the lessons learned so far, leaving aside these creative and cultural zones. The aim is to provide a broader overview, problem-solving of some assumptions, to further develop the possibilities of applying the history of art in the teaching of art education as well as in interdisciplinary relations.
Learning outcomes
Students define basic works, personalities and characteristics of the art of selected species and cultures.
Students are able to explain the specifics of individual artistic fields and cultures.
Students are able to appropriately didactically transform the knowledge of art history and other fields for the needs of specific teaching practice.
