Course objectives
Named and based on self-reported facts, explain the major global issues of mankind, using publicly available information to demonstrate the realistic relationship of man to society and the natural environment.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to characterize the main conditions of human interactions in relation to his / her existence on Earth.
Syllabus
  • 1. Background of the company to its environment with a growing population and economic development. 2. Global world as a linking economic interests. 3. The conditions for the development of globalization and its limits as global problems of humanity. 4. Tendency of population growth in the world population in historical times. 5. Issue a different development of the poor and the rich world. 6. Development of human civilization as a cause or a tool for solving global problems? 7. Global problems of humanity and international organizations. 8. The global problem of inadequate and unbalanced diet. 9. Diseases as a problem of rich and less developed world. 10. Military conflicts and their global implications. 11. Consequences of climate change and international efforts to alleviate them. 12. Globalization of the problems of humanity and civilization, and their inclusion in teaching at primary schools.
